Mah\u015fer (1924) adl\u0131 roman\u0131nda modernle\u015fmenin ahlaki yozla\u015fmalar\u0131 art\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131 tezini adeta okurun g\u00f6z\u00fcne sokan Peyami Safa, maalesef bu eseriyle de ilk roman\u0131ndaki tuza\u011fa d\u00fc\u015fer; fakat roman boyunca gizli bir nasihatvari tutum izlemesine ra\u011fmen roman\u0131n ba\u015fkarakterinin kimlik bunal\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 ustaca vermeyi ba\u015far\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canan\u2019da (1925) ise yine benzer bir tutumla T\u00fcrk aile yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n de\u011fi\u015fimini ve yozla\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131 ele al\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bir Ak\u015famd\u0131\u2019da (1928) yerli bir Madam Bovary tiplemesi resmeder. Bir di\u011fer roman\u0131 \u015eim\u015fek\u2019te, sayd\u0131\u011f\u0131m romanlar\u0131ndaki gibi Do\u011fu-Bat\u0131 tart\u0131\u015fmas\u0131na girer, Bat\u0131l\u0131la\u015fman\u0131n T\u00fcrk toplumu \u00fczerindeki olumsuz etkilerini belirgin \u015fekilde vurgular. Bana g\u00f6re, Peyami Safa\u2019n\u0131n bu romanlar\u0131nda, modernle\u015fmenin y\u0131k\u0131c\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 \u015fehvet d\u00fc\u015fk\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc, alkolizm, kumar, aldatma gibi metaforlarla ispatlamaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 b\u00fcy\u00fck bir talihsizliktir. Kald\u0131 ki, bunlar hemen her medeniyet ve k\u00fclt\u00fcrde g\u00f6r\u00fclebilecek t\u00fcrden insani fiillerdir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safa\u2019n\u0131n fikir yaz\u0131lar\u0131nda, romanlar\u0131nda g\u00f6r\u00fclenin aksine Bat\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesi ve medeniyetine hayranl\u0131k derecesine varan yakla\u015f\u0131mlar a\u00e7\u0131k\u00e7a g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcr. Onda \u00e7eli\u015fki gibi g\u00f6r\u00fcnen bu durum bana g\u00f6re, Cumhuriyet sonras\u0131 yap\u0131lan devrimlerle, halk\u0131n modernle\u015fmeyi yanl\u0131\u015f anlayarak, Bat\u0131l\u0131la\u015fmay\u0131 sadece ya\u015fam k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc olarak benimseme tehlikesine kar\u015f\u0131 olan endi\u015fesinden kaynaklanmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Server Bedi ve Cing\u00f6z Recai<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Peyami Safa, hayat\u0131n\u0131 idame etmek i\u00e7in, annesi Server Bedia\u2019n\u0131n isminden yola \u00e7\u0131k\u0131p Server Bedi m\u00fcstear\u0131n\u0131 kullanarak halk\u0131n ilgisini \u00e7ekecek hik\u00e2ye dizileri kaleme al\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1924\u2019te yazmaya ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir polisiye dizi olan Cing\u00f6z Recai\u2019nin Harikul\u00e2de Serg\u00fcze\u015ftleri b\u00fcy\u00fck ilgi g\u00f6r\u00fcr. Safa, Cing\u00f6z Recai tipini Maurice Leblanc\u2019\u0131n Arsene L\u00fcpen\u2019inden kotarm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Yaman bir h\u0131rs\u0131z olan Cing\u00f6z Recai, sevimlili\u011fi ve keskin zek\u00e2s\u0131 ile okurun sempatisini kazan\u0131r. 10\u2019ar kitapl\u0131k iki dizi h\u00e2linde bas\u0131lan serinin son kitab\u0131 Cing\u00f6z\u2019\u00fcn Ak\u0131beti\u2019nde Cing\u00f6z Recai hapsi boylar. Ancak Safa bo\u015f durmaz. C\u0131va Necati, \u00c7ekirge Zehra, Tilki Leman adlar\u0131nda yeni karakterler yaratarak polisiye diziler yazmaya devam eder. Fakat bu tiplemeler Cing\u00f6z Recai kadar tutmaz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harf \u0130nk\u0131l\u00e2b\u0131\u2019ndan sonra on bir kitapl\u0131k C\u0131va Necati\u2019nin Harikul\u00e2de Serg\u00fcze\u015ftleri adl\u0131 seriden C\u0131va Necati ismini kald\u0131r\u0131p yerine Cing\u00f6z Recai\u2019yi koyarak yeniden yay\u0131mlat\u0131r. Okurun iste\u011fi \u00fczerine Cing\u00f6z\u2019\u00fcn Esrar\u0131 ba\u015fl\u0131kl\u0131 yeni bir macera yazar. Daha sonra da Sherlock Holmes\u2019e Kar\u015f\u0131 Cing\u00f6z Recai ad\u0131n\u0131 verdi\u011fi on be\u015f kitaptan olu\u015fan bir seriye ba\u015flar. Onun ard\u0131ndan Arsene L\u00fcpen \u0130stanbul\u2019da adl\u0131 kitap gelir. Bu macerada Cing\u00f6z Recai\u2019nin kurnazl\u0131\u011f\u0131 Arsen L\u00fcpen\u2019i alt eder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahmet Mithat\u2019la ba\u015flayan yerli polisiye roman furyas\u0131n\u0131n ilk \u00f6rnekleri aras\u0131nda yer almas\u0131 d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda pek bir \u00f6nemi olmayan Cing\u00f6z Recai romanlar\u0131, edebi de\u011ferden yoksunlu\u011fu ve kurgudaki zay\u0131fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ile kendi zaman\u0131n\u0131n d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck profilli okurlar\u0131na y\u00f6nelik \u00e7alakalem yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015f \u00f6zensiz metinlerdir. Bir Server Bedi polisiyesi olan roman 1938-1939 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda Cumhuriyet gazetesinde tefrika edilir.
