Sovyetlerin en eski yerli m\u00fcttefikleri, Buhara\u2019daki s\u00f6zde ceditlerdi (din kar\u015f\u0131t\u0131 ve radikal T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ileri). Buhara\u2019n\u0131n serbest fikirli milliyet\u00e7ilerini neredeyse yok eden Emir\u2019in Orta \u00c7a\u011f polisinin elinde a\u011f\u0131r zayiat veren cedit\u00e7iler,[23<\/a>] Ta\u015fkent\u2019in Marksist y\u00f6neticilerinden yard\u0131m istedi. Park\u2019\u0131n bulgular\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6zetlerken Orta Asya\u2019daki kom\u00fcnist rejim destek\u00e7ilerinin mahiyetinin ger\u00e7ekten \u201culuslararas\u0131\u201d oldu\u011funa h\u00fckmetmek m\u00fcmk\u00fcnd\u00fcr. Bunlar\u0131n her biri kendi ama\u00e7lar\u0131 olan d\u00f6rt ya da be\u015f farkl\u0131 ulusal gruba ayr\u0131labilirdi. \u0130lk grup, bir\u00e7o\u011fu i\u015f\u00e7i ve k\u00f6yl\u00fc yerle\u015fimciler olan Rus ve Ukraynal\u0131lardan olu\u015furdu. Bahsolunan malzeme T\u00fcrkistan\u2019da Sovyetle\u015fmenin ilk on y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131n olduk\u00e7a geni\u015f bir resmini sunmaktad\u0131r. Parti, e\u011fitim, din, ekonomi, tar\u0131m, toprak reformu, k\u00fclt\u00fcr devrimi ve y\u00f6netimin \u201cmill\u00eele\u015ftirilmesi\u201d ya da daha da iyi bir ifadeyle \u201cyerlile\u015ftirilmesi\u201d yakla\u015f\u0131k 400 sayfada itinayla incelenmi\u015ftir. Rus ordusunda subay olarak g\u00f6rev alan Velihanov, Dostoyevski ve di\u011fer Rus entelekt\u00fcellerinin yak\u0131n birer arkada\u015f\u0131 oldu. Yarat\u0131c\u0131 bir yazardan daha ziyade bir bilim insan\u0131, co\u011frafyac\u0131 ve halk bilimciydi ancak bununla birlikte e\u011fitimli Kazaklar\u0131n sonraki nesillerine y\u00f6n veren yeni bir Kazak entelekt\u00fceli t\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn de ilk \u00f6rne\u011fiydi.
