Bu teze g\u00f6re isim, 1313 tarihli Ayd\u0131n Vil\u00e2yeti Saln\u00e2mesi\u2019<\/em>nde b\u00f6lgedeki baz\u0131 \u00e2ilelerin dokumac\u0131l\u0131kla u\u011fra\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 kayd\u0131na dayanarak, Osmanl\u0131 kay\u0131tlar\u0131nda \u201calaca\u201d olarak ge\u00e7en bir kuma\u015f cinsi olan Grek\u00e7e alatzas (ala\u00e7as)\u2019dan veya \u201ctuz\u201d demek olan alati<\/em> yahut tuzla kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 olan aliki<\/em>den t\u00fcreyen \u201calatos\u201d ile bir \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fc birimi olan \u201csata\u201dn\u0131n birle\u015fmesi ile Alatsata<\/em> kelimesinin meydana geldi\u011fi, bunun da zamanla Ala\u00e7at\u0131 haline d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc\u011f\u00fc yolundad\u0131r[46<\/a>]. G\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fc gibi burada da kelimenin asl\u00ee \u015fekli de\u011fil, bozulmu\u015f hali ile yorum yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Anadolu\u2019da bir a\u015firet ad\u0131 ta\u015f\u0131yan, fakat cumhuriyetten sonra ufak bir tel\u00e2ffuz fark\u0131yla ismi de\u011fi\u015ftirilen yerler de vard\u0131r ki Diyarbak\u0131r bunlardan biridir. Asl\u0131nda bu \u015fehir birka\u00e7 defa ad de\u011fi\u015ftirmi\u015ftir. Yunan ve L\u00e2tin kaynaklar\u0131nda \u015fehrin ad\u0131 Amido veya Amida olarak ge\u00e7er. Arablar \u00c2mid, Osmanl\u0131lar ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7ta Karaamid demi\u015fler; fakat Bekr a\u015firetinin yerle\u015fmesinden sonra Diy\u00e2r-\u0131 Bekr olarak an\u0131lmaya ba\u015flanm\u0131\u015f, 1937\u2019de ise Atat\u00fcrk\u2019\u00fcn \u015fehri ziyareti s\u0131ras\u0131nda (15 Kas\u0131m 1937) \u201cbekr\u201d \u201cbak\u0131r\u201d yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r[47<\/a>]. B\u00f6yle bir isim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fi de El-Aziz\u2019in Elaz\u0131\u011f\u2019a \u00e7evrilmesinde g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcr. \u015eehrin ad\u0131 Kas\u0131m 1937\u2019de \u201caz\u0131k ili\u201d manas\u0131na gelen Elaz\u0131k\u2019a d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr\u00fclm\u00fc\u015f, daha sonra 10 Aral\u0131k 1937\u2019de de sondaki \u201ck\u201d harfi \u201c\u011f\u201dye \u00e7evrilerek Elaz\u0131\u011f \u015feklini alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r[48<\/a>].<\/p>\n\n\n\n Osmanl\u0131 devrinde kurulan \u015fehirler i\u00e7inde isimleri tamamen de\u011fi\u015ftirilenlere de rastlan\u0131r. Bunlar i\u00e7in tipik bir \u00f6rnek olarak \u00c7anakkale verilebilir. \u0130stanbul\u2019un fethinden sonra Akdeniz Bo\u011faz\u0131\u2019ndan ge\u00e7i\u015fi kontrol etmek \u00fczere 1466\u2019da buraya bir kale in\u015fa edilerek Kal\u2018a-y\u0131 Sult\u00e2niyye<\/em> ad\u0131 verilmi\u015f, buradaki yerle\u015fim yeri de ayn\u0131 adla an\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r[49<\/a>]. Mesel\u00e2 Tavas\u2019\u0131n Nikfer K\u00f6y\u00fc\u2019n\u00fcn ad\u0131 \u00f6nce Konak\u2019a \u00e7evrilmi\u015f; fakat postada \u0130zmir ve Malatya\u2019daki \u201cKonak\u201dlarla kar\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in ba\u015f\u0131na \u201cb\u00fcy\u00fck\u201d s\u0131fat\u0131n\u0131n il\u00e2vesiyle \u201cB\u00fcy\u00fckkonak\u201d yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ne var ki, buran\u0131n \u00f6zel bir dokumas\u0131 oldu\u011fu ve bunun ihra\u00e7 mallar\u0131 aras\u0131nda yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 gerek\u00e7esiyle halk, bu isim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011finden ho\u015flanmam\u0131\u015f ve eski ad\u0131n\u0131n verilmesi hus\u00fbsunda te\u015febb\u00fcslerde bulunmu\u015f, l\u00e2kin sonu\u00e7 alamam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. \u0130zmir\u2019in G\u00fcm\u00fcld\u00fcr\u2019\u00fc ise, bu konuda daha \u015fansl\u0131 \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015f, eski ismini tekrar kazanabilmi\u015ftir[99<\/a>].<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bunlar\u0131n tam aksi \u00f6rnekler ise pek \u00e7oktur. Mesel\u00e2, Tavas Kazas\u0131\u2019nda derin bir vadide kurulan ve topra\u011f\u0131n\u0131n rengi dolay\u0131siyle \u201cSar\u0131yar\u201d ad\u0131 verilen k\u00f6y\u00fcn ad\u0131 Narl\u0131\u2019ya de\u011fi\u015ftirilmi\u015ftir. Bu b\u00f6lgede ya\u015fayan baz\u0131 kimseler dahi Sar\u0131yar isminden art\u0131k haberdar de\u011fildir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Etraf\u0131ndaki baz\u0131 kazalarla birle\u015ftirilen Me\u011fri\u2019ye \u201cFethiye\u201d ad\u0131 verilmi\u015ftir ve art\u0131k kimse buran\u0131n eski ad\u0131n\u0131 kullanmamaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bunun gibi daha pek \u00e7ok \u00f6rnek vard\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4. \u0130d\u00e2r\u00ee Te\u015fkil\u00e2t ve \u0130simlerindeki De\u011fi\u015fiklikler<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n a. XVI. y\u00fczy\u0131lda mahalle ay\u0131r\u0131m\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fclen \u00c7e\u015fme\u2019ye ba\u011fl\u0131 Sivrihisar\/Seferihisar\u2019da ise bu asr\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131 ile sonu aras\u0131nda bile farkl\u0131l\u0131k vard\u0131r. Be\u015f mahalleden d\u00f6rd\u00fc \u015f\u00f6yledir: Mescid-i Fen\u00e2r\u00eez\u00e2de, Cami, Kebeci\/\u00c7\u0131rapazar\u0131 ve H\u0131d\u0131rl\u0131k. XVI. y\u00fczy\u0131ldaki ilk tahrirdeki Mescid-i Yeniceo\u011flu ismi ise ikincide g\u00f6r\u00fclmez; bunun yerine Toprakl\u0131k adl\u0131 bir mahalleye rastlan\u0131r. \u0130lk tahrirde Kebeci Mahallesi\u2019nin iki ismi kaydedilmesine ra\u011fmen Yeniceo\u011flu\u2019nda b\u00f6yle bir kay\u0131t bulunmamakla beraber bu mahallenin ikinci ad\u0131n\u0131n Toprakl\u0131k oldu\u011fu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclebilir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seferihisar\u2019\u0131n g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde de be\u015f mahallesi olmakla birlikte bunlardan sadece Cami ve H\u0131d\u0131rl\u0131k eski isimlerini korumu\u015flard\u0131r. Mahallelerden biri Turabiye ad\u0131n\u0131 ta\u015f\u0131r. \u201cTurab\u201d\u0131n ayak bas\u0131lan yer, toprak m\u00e2n\u00e2lar\u0131na geldi\u011fi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcld\u00fckte Toprakl\u0131k Mahallesi\u2019nin isminin \u201cTurabiye\u201d \u015fekline girmi\u015f olmas\u0131 pek m\u00fcmk\u00fcn g\u00f6r\u00fcnmektedir[100<\/a>].<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mahalle ay\u0131r\u0131m\u0131 olup de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fe u\u011frad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 tesbit etti\u011fimiz di\u011fer bir kasaba Bodrum\u2019dur. 1830\u2019da Bodrum\u2019un dokuz mahallesi vard\u0131r. Bunlar \u00c7ar\u015f\u0131, Eski \u00c7e\u015fme, Tepecik, Kisrelik, Kilerlik, Tersane, T\u00fcrkkuyusu, Umruk\u00e7a ve Yenik\u00f6y\u2019d\u00fcr[101<\/a>]. Bug\u00fcn bunlardan Kisrelik, Kilerlik ve Tersane mahallelerine rastlayam\u0131yoruz[102<\/a>]. Eski\u00e7e\u015fme Mahallesi ise kaplad\u0131\u011f\u0131 alan dolay\u0131siyle olacak \u00fc\u00e7e b\u00f6l\u00fcnm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Bir par\u00e7as\u0131 eski ad\u0131n\u0131 muhafaza ederken di\u011ferleri Cevat \u015eakir ve G\u00fcmbet adlar\u0131yla an\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Kilerlik ve Kisrelik mahallelerinin yerlerini tesbit etmek m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olamam\u0131\u015fsa da g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze sadece kap\u0131s\u0131 kalan Osmanl\u0131 Tersanesi\u2019nin mevkii belli olup bug\u00fcn yat liman\u0131 olan yerdedir[103<\/a>]. Tersane Mahallesi de bunun civar\u0131nda olmal\u0131d\u0131r. B\u00fcy\u00fck bir ihtimalle Eski\u00e7e\u015fme Mahallesi, Tersane Mahallesi buraya kat\u0131ld\u0131ktan sonra \u00fc\u00e7e b\u00f6l\u00fcnm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n b. Sokak Adlar\u0131<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Sokak adlar\u0131yla da oynanmaktad\u0131r. Yerli veya yabanc\u0131 bir devlet b\u00fcy\u00fc\u011f\u00fcne cemile yapmak \u00fczere veya \u00f6len bir \u015fahs\u0131n hat\u0131ras\u0131n\u0131 ya\u015fatmak yahut hayattaki bir \u015fahs\u0131n yapt\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 m\u00fck\u00e2fatland\u0131rmak i\u00e7in ad\u0131 bir cadde, meydan veya mahalleye verilmektedir. Bu elbette kab\u00fbl g\u00f6recek bir keyfiyettir ama b\u00f6yle isim vermeler isk\u00e2na yeni a\u00e7\u0131lan yerler i\u00e7in yap\u0131lmal\u0131, as\u0131rlarca kullan\u0131lan, yerle\u015fmi\u015f isimlere dokunulmamal\u0131d\u0131r. Zaten baz\u0131lar\u0131 sadece resm\u00ee yaz\u0131\u015fmalarda kalmakta, halk aras\u0131nda pek tutulmamaktad\u0131r. 1960 ihtil\u00e2linden sonra Beyaz\u0131t Meydan\u0131\u2019n\u0131n ad\u0131 H\u00fcrriyet Meydan\u0131 olarak de\u011fi\u015ftirilmi\u015f; fakat bu sadece otob\u00fcs tabelalar\u0131nda kalm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Yine Karag\u00fcmr\u00fck\u2019teki L\u00f6k\u00fcnc\u00fcler, Prof. Naci \u015eensoy Caddesi olarak de\u011fi\u015ftirilmi\u015ftir. Fakat orada ya\u015fayanlar aras\u0131nda dahi caddenin yeni isminden haberdar olmayanlar vard\u0131r. \u0130stanbul\u2019da Osmanl\u0131 baruthanesinin bulundu\u011fu alanda yeni bir semt kurulurken buraya Atak\u00f6y ad\u0131 verilmi\u015f, baz\u0131 cadde ve sokaklara da Ali R\u0131za Efendi, Z\u00fcbeyde Han\u0131m, Makbule Atadan gibi Atat\u00fcrk\u2019\u00fcn yak\u0131nlar\u0131n\u0131n ismi konmu\u0131\u015f, Cenk Bay\u0131r\u0131 ise yine bu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceyle Conk Bay\u0131r\u0131\u2019na \u00e7evrilmi\u015ftir. Bunlar\u0131n yan\u0131nda bir ana caddeye de ad\u0131n\u0131n Strasburg oldu\u011funu g\u00f6steren tabel\u00e2 dikilmi\u015ftir ki ne semtin, ne de di\u011fer sokaklar\u0131n\u0131n adlar\u0131yla bir yak\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131 yoktur. Yine ayn\u0131 semtte kavak a\u011fa\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131n\u0131n fazlal\u0131\u011f\u0131 dolay\u0131siyle halk taraf\u0131ndan \u201cKavakl\u0131 Park\u201d ad\u0131 verilen parka yak\u0131n bir tarihte \u201cAttila \u0130lhan\u201d ad\u0131 konmu\u015f ve parka bir de heykeli dikilmi\u015ftir. \u015e\u00fcphe yok ki Attila \u0130lhan\u2019\u0131n cumhuriyet devrinin edip ve \u015fairleri aras\u0131nda m\u00fchim bir yeri bulunmaktad\u0131r. Ancak burada yerle\u015fmi\u015f bir ismin de\u011fi\u015ftirilmesi hus\u00fbsunda bir zorlama vard\u0131r. Belediyeler bu konularda hassas davranmal\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n c. Ancak Alanya sarp bir yama\u00e7 \u00fcst\u00fcne kuruldu\u011fu gibi, di\u011fer sahil kaleleri de s\u0131rtlar\u0131n\u0131 bir yamaca dayam\u0131\u015flard\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Karadaki kalelerde de, etraf\u0131n emniyetli olup olmamas\u0131 \u00e7ok \u00f6nemliydi. Bunun i\u00e7in de etraf kontrol edilmeden kale kap\u0131lar\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131lmazd\u0131 [107<\/a>].<\/p>\n\n\n\n Zaman i\u00e7inde ovalar\u0131n emniyetli hale gelmesiyle yerle\u015fme yerleri de tepeleri terk ederek ovaya inmi\u015flerdir. Tavas (Kale), G\u00fcm\u00fcld\u00fcr, Kesr\u00ee (\u00d6zdere), Karaburun Emirdo\u011fan (Mordo\u011fan) gibi yerle\u015fme yerleri bunlara mis\u00e2l olarak verilebilir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ovada oldu\u011fu halde yer de\u011fi\u015ftiren k\u00f6ylere de rastlanmaktad\u0131r. \u0130zmir\u2019in O\u011flananas\u0131 K\u00f6y\u00fc b\u00f6yledir. XVI. y\u00fczy\u0131l vak\u0131f defterinde bu k\u00f6yde bir cuma cami\u2018i kay\u0131tl\u0131d\u0131r. Fakat g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczdeki cami yeni bir yap\u0131d\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca k\u00f6y sakinleri buran\u0131n 1924\u2019de kuruldu\u011funu iddia etmektedirler. \u00d6yle anla\u015f\u0131l\u0131yor ki, yerini ve zaman\u0131n\u0131 tayin edemedi\u011fimiz bir tarihte k\u00f6y yer de\u011fi\u015ftirmi\u015ftir. Z\u00eer\u00e2, yine k\u00f6yl\u00fclerin ifadesine g\u00f6re tarlalar\u0131n bulundu\u011fu k\u0131s\u0131mda \u201cCami Yeri\u201d denilen bir mevki vard\u0131r.
